Tobias Patrick is a record collector, DJ, and constant in Shanghai’s dance music scene. He has spent the last two decades immersing himself in club music - and has picked up one or two tricks along the way.

While raised on Germany’s Techno and House Sound of the 1990s, his musical influences are too broad to define his style in a sentence. From Breakbeats to Acid, Techno to synth, his vibes are always changing yet woven together with great care. He is a frequent at Tag, the Alter parties in Shanghai, 44KW, and many clubs across the region.

A figure in the Chinese scene via her work with the M Agency and club Haze, Yu Yang was educated in Beijing and New York. After becoming the musical director for both W Shanghai and the EDITION hotel, she co-founded the Alter. brand, bringing select interntional DJs to China and presenting Chinese talents to international platforms. 

As a DJ she’s played from Hungary to Shanghai with one simple aim - to get the party going. A proponent of all things electronic and groovy, her sets have four primary pillars of disco, house, Italo, and acid.

As a multi-instrumentalist producer from a young age, 2014 saw Enzo Grasso move from Milan to Shanghai - immersing himself into the city’s scene. Since then he’s regularly played at the country’s premier clubs; frequenting Lola, Elevator, Lantern, 44kw. After starting the Alter. brand and the recently opened X Bar, the project soon became a mecca for quality dance music in Shanghai; successfully bringing over international acts like Dixon, Tom Trago, and John Talabot.

A selector and the other half of Alter. Yu Yang, both recognized also as “Alter Soundsystem”. Enzo’s sets are based upon a foundation of house and Italo-disco. He utilizes the synths and sounds from the 80s and 90s to cultivate a cinematic dance-floor atmosphere.

Endy Chen has an endless passion for developing his sound via rare groove culture as a DJ. He spent much of his time and energy digging into Asian Pop/Fusion tunes and experimenting with his rocket science in different club scenes with surprising feedback. Endy is also a maniac vinyl records digger: his daily-updated vinyl collection became his own inspiration. Besides being a frequenter caller, promoter, and guest DJ,  Endy used to publish Guest Mixes under music units like RBMA, NOISEY, and Dixiaguangbo, and he had his own special columns in NTS Radio. 

Endy founded Groove Bunny Records, Daily Vinyl, Records&Barber wave, and 1asia. Since 2013. he's been building up reliable word of mouth worldwide.
