JOPLYN​​​ is a 18-year-old ​​​songwriter, producer & vocalist​​​ from Berlin with a Vietnamese-German-Canadian background.

Her music can best be described as ​​“post-genre”. Electronica, melodic techno, and deep house mix into mysterious, dark, yet futuristic and uplifting dancefloor killers. Her tracks already have been​ remixed by electronic heavyweights such as ​​Booka Shade​, ​HOSH​ & ​Robot Koch​, were handpicked by Spotify´s editorial team and have been widely reported on from everybody between Billboard to DJ Mag. Her single “​Outer Space​”​ was featured on the ​​Netflix ​show​ ​​“We Are The Wave​”

JOPLYN’s lyrics evoke a sense of melancholy and the​ loneliness​​ one feels walking down Berlin’s never-ending streets. But they also touch on topics like​ diversity​ and ​gender inequality.

In the lead single ​“MIND ACTRESS”​, of her debut album ​“PAPPELALLEE”, JOPLYN writes about the magnitude of identity. She ponders on the different “roles” she has built up in other peoples’ minds, questioning the ​fallible nature of perception. “Or am I just an actress, playing roles in your head?”​ she sings about a feeling, many people are all too familiar with.

With an accumulated​ 4 million streams​ across western streaming platforms​ and about 200k Spotify followers, there is no doubt that JOPLYN has a bright future in front of her.

A wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno, EBM, and post-disco is what defines the signature Local Suicide sound.

Berlin-based Curses blends New Wave and Post-Punk with his ghostly vocals and guitars, punctuated with flashes of 80's EBM and New Beat. The debut album from Curses, 'Romantic Fiction' dropped on Jennifer Cardini's Dischi Autunno, launching his live act which brings the guitars, vocals, and energy of the album to stage as a duo.

Whether it's performing live at the late Andrew Weatherall's Convenanza Festival or DJing in the main room at Circoloco DC-10, Curses manages to somehow bring his punk and new wave attitude to all dance floors small and big. Always keeping true to his unique mix of a dark 80's driven sound. Curses also run his own imprint, Ombra International: inviting artists from around the globe to share their unique passion for all things 'wave'.

自90年代起，出生于巴西的Joyce Muniz便是维也纳俱乐部场景的重要组成部分，那时的她曾在传奇场地Flex Club驻场，如今则在奥地利的FM4以及英国的Rinse FM均开办了固定的电台节目。Joyce出身演唱专业，对音乐有着广泛涉猎。
