SHELTER BOY
Shelter Boy has created his own distinct style and blends dreamy guitar sounds with raw style vocals. The result can be classified somewhere between indie-rock and dream-pop. On his previous EP Mirage Morning (2019) a refreshing effortlessness distracts from the actual engagement with his own complex emotional world. It’s back and forth between the euphoria after a successful backside heel-flip and the struggles of everyday life. Shelter Boy tries to find himself in the turmoil that is his music and his life. Long days and even longer nights inspire his songs.
When he is not on the road with his band the Shelly Family he can be seen on his own, accompanied only by his electric guitar. While performing with the full band will result in adventurous performances and musical excursions, the more intimate solo appearance is also able to convey the same atmosphere of love and youthful frivolousness.

EMIKA
Born in the UK of Czech heritage, while her teenage friends were doing teenage things Emika was studying computer sequencing and audio processing in Somerset’s picturesque city of Bath. A classically trained pianist and vocalist, inspired by nearby Bristol’s trip-hop vista, while Emika’s means of musical expression lay in Techno culture and the rising dubstep scene, her curiosity for sound was equally guided by avant-garde electro-acoustic composers such as Iannis Xenakis, Dennis Smalley, and Trevor Wishart.
2021 signifies Emika’s 10th year in the music industry and with that comes time for reflection: while plans are afoot to mark Emika’s 10th anniversary with a trilogy of retrospective albums, she’s already plotting to succeed Melanfonie with a second symphony project based on economist Jeremy Rifkin’s book The Third Industrial Revolution. Currently undergoing a research phase, Emika has plans to record the symphony from her newly created self-sustaining forest studio in the province of Brandenburg, outside Berlin.

JOPLYN
JOPLYN is a songwriter, producer & vocalist from Berlin with a Vietnamese-German-Canadian background.
Her music can best be described as “post-genre”. Electronica, melodic techno, and deep house mix into mysterious, dark, yet futuristic and uplifting dancefloor killers. Her tracks already have been remixed by electronic heavyweights such as Booka Shade, HOSH & Robot Koch, were handpicked by Spotify´s editorial team and have been widely reported on from everybody between Billboard to DJ Mag. Her single “Outer Space” was featured on the Netflix show “We Are The Wave”
JOPLYN’s lyrics evoke a sense of melancholy and the loneliness one feels walking down Berlin’s never-ending streets. But they also touch on topics like diversity and gender inequality.
In the lead single “MIND ACTRESS”, of her debut album “PAPPELALLEE”, JOPLYN writes about the magnitude of identity. She ponders on the different “roles” she has built up in other peoples’ minds, questioning the fallible nature of perception. “Or am I just an actress, playing roles in your head?” she sings about a feeling, many people are all too familiar with.
With an accumulated 4 million streams across western streaming platforms and about 200k Spotify listeners, there is no doubt that JOPLYN has a bright future in front of her.
